B & B Policies

Hodge Podge Lodge also operates as an event venue and often hosts weddings, parties, luncheons and other functions.  There may be an occasion when other guests will be utilizing the property for a separate event during your stay.  We make every effort to notify all our overnight guests of such events prior to booking.   In the unlikely event a function is booked after your reservation is confirmed we will notify you of such.

The owners do not live on the property, but are close by and often stop by.  We also have a property manager on call.

The main house has three bedrooms and there is a cottage on the property as well.  You may be staying with other guests in the house, just as in any typical bed and breakfast. 

Payment Policy: Credit cards are processed for full payment upon reservation and booking.

ALL cancellations made within 7 days of stay are subject to full payment and no refund will be issued.

Cancellations made more than 7 days (one week) in advance of stay can be rescheduled within two months of the original booking date (based on availability).

No fire-lit candles are permitted inside or outside the property.

HPL is a non-smoking facility. No smoking is permitted inside or in the immediate vicinity of the home, such as the front porch.  There is a designated smoking area adjacent to the detached garage.

We want you to enjoy the local wineries and your stay here, but we ask that you refrain from taking red wine up to your room just in case of an accident.

Damages will be billed to the credit card on file.

Hodge Podge Lodge operates on a reservation-only system.  We do not allow our registered guests to invite other guests during their stay.  Please respect this policy so that you may enjoy your visit with us in peace.

Our B&B Guests are provided $20 vouchers per guest (up to two vouchers per room per night) for breakfast that must be presented to your server at our on-site restaurant, The Eatery.

Please leave the robes and coffee mugs for other guests to enjoy.

All rooms & rates are for two persons per night.   Additional guests are allowed at an additional rate of $45.00 per night.  Maximum one additional person per room.

-Check-in is 3:00 pm.  Check-out is 11:00 am.

If you will be checking in later than 3:00 pm please specify in your reservation.

A fee of 50% of the room rate will be applied for Guests that check out later than 11:00 am. Unless noted otherwise in writing prior to your stay.

Sorry, we love pets, and our children, but not in our historic home.  Children 12 and older are welcome.
